Franchise System of the Year and Franchisee of the Year
The Franchise Coach believes we should strive for excellence so by
sponsoring two awards in the 2007 Westpac Wards they are doing their
part to encourage best practice in franchising .
We have been a part of the awards since they first started and will
continue to have this level of support.
Special congratulations to the winners of our wards but to every one
that entered for first of all entering and to the winners an even more

Franchise System of the Year - Carpet One New Zealand
Carpet One New Zealand impressed the judges with their innovative use of
 technology to capture an edge in this very competitive market.
Everything from the laser measuring tools franchisees use to minimise
carpet waste to the handheld PDA's that check availability and produce
customer quotes on the spot. These were among a few aspects that
impressed the judges enough to bestow the top award on this Franchise
system.
Franchisee of the Year - Appliance Rentals Waikato Ltd, Mr Rental
Colin and Maggie Stacey opened their Mr Rental store in Hamilton in
2002. Now the business is operated by their daughters Nina and Holly and
has over 650 customers. They pride themselves on going the extra mile
for their customers and were commended by the judges for their
commitment to continuous evaluation.
