The Franchise Coach appointed New Zealand Agency for Franchise Relationships Institute
Auckland-based franchise consultancy, The Franchise Coach, was recently appointed New Zealand agency for the Franchise Relationship Institute. This finally gives franchisors and franchisees local access to training, services and tools developed over 21 years by an organisation considered globally to be at the forefront of 'franchise relationships'.
The Franchise Relationships Institute was established in Queensland, Australia, by corporate psychologist Greg Nathan. In the Westpac 2009/2010 New Zealand Franchise Awards, The Franchise Coach was named 'Service Provider of the Year.'
The term 'franchise relationships' describes scientific and research-based procedures and structures that better equip the franchisor and franchisee to work together constructively for their mutual benefit and for the benefit of the customer and brand. The scope of 'franchise relationships' also extends to assisting franchisors review and improve the performance of their franchise support offices and implement more scientifically based assessment methods to minimise the risks of poor franchisee selection.
Announcing the appointment, David McCulloch, managing director, The Franchise Coach, said much of his business success when he was a franchisor can be attributable to Greg Nolan's 'franchise relationships' training. “Attending Greg’s seminars as a budding franchisor gave me direction which greatly contributed to my success and since establishing The Franchise Coach in 1996 we have continued working closely with the Franchise Relationship Institute.
